Positive educational experiences and outcomes play a significant role in the development of an independent, meaningful life, but they don’t “just happen.” Parents and educators must work as a team to develop each student’s strengths and to support challenges that may be due to their autism. To be an equal member of this team, parents need to understand the educational services and accommodations that can best support their child.

Join us on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30 p.m. for our
7th annual Extraordinary Minds in MCPS forum, cosponsored with Montgomery County Public Schools' Department of Special Education. Learn about the continuum of educational services and other resources for students on the autism spectrum in Montgomery County. Download a flyer to share.

Unity, not uniformity, must be our aim. We attain unity only through variety. Differences must be integrated, not annihilated, nor absorbed.
